I'm a 19 year old botany student from Aberdeen. Aside from my love of plants, which is showcased on this blog, I'm also a music person to a huge degree. I'm pretty much never without music when at home and never without my headphones when I'm out. I mostly listen to post-rock, avant-garde rock and a few pieces of metal here and there, but my persuasions range far and wide and cross blues and pop and ambient and more.

I'm a keen reader, too, and I'm a sucker for ornate, thick prose that drips with description. Particular favourites of mine are Nietzsche and Orwell, as well as Verne and Peake.
